Since 2013, my husband Nguyễn Hải Yến and I have carried forward the cacao journey my father began in Tien Giang, in the heart of Vietnam's Mekong Delta — where he guided local farmers to grow, harvest and process cacao. As the second generation, we lead Alluvia Chocolate from farm to bar — now in 34 stores across Vietnam and exported to Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Cambodia & Thailand.
About
My story with cacao began long before Alluvia had a name — with my father, a member of the Success Alliance sustainable cacao development project and the Cho Gao Cacao Cooperative, who guided Mekong Delta farmers to grow, harvest and process cacao beans. In 2013, my husband Nguyễn Hải Yến and I turned that family heritage into Alluvia Chocolate, a bean-to-bar brand rooted in the fertile alluvial soil the river gives us. Today our own factory in Tien Giang crafts single-origin chocolate, cacao powder, cacao butter and cacao nibs, made by a team of around 250 people. We welcome visitors and customers to 34 Alluvia stores across Vietnam, host families on farm tours and chocolate workshops, and create gifts for businesses and hotels. Our chocolate now travels to Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Cambodia and Thailand. My mission is simple: to make Vietnamese cacao a source of pride — for our farmers, our people, and every guest who tastes it.
